FRANTZ has manufactured steel balls since 1947, and we understand the process of making a quality ball product. Our Ball Division is IATF 16949:2016 certified, meaning our balls are made to rigid automotive industry standards. We manufacture balls from raw material to finished product and control the entire process to ensure quality. In addition to visual inspection of the finished product, we employ roller-size sorting techniques and eddy current technology to verify your product meets your expectations.
The Ball Division operates a state-of-the-art test lab to measure our products against ABMA standards, including roundness, surface roughness, case depth, and hardness.
We offer all sizes of balls, and due to our heat-treating technology, we can harden steel balls to your desired specifications. Contact our Inside Sales Team for size and feature options. Minimum lot sizes apply.
FRANTZ has drilling capabilities. We use high-speed technology to drill various diameters and depths into spheres of different sizes and materials.
